Make a basket that can hold some personal treasures! This workshop is an introductory coil basketry workshop using a traditional coil technique. Each weaver will learn to start a coil and shape it into their own unique vessel using a variety of fibers: twine, raffia, yarn, and threads.
Students are encouraged to create their own designs or patterns while inspired by a selection of colors and textures. The possibilities are endless! All materials will be supplied for the workshop. Attendees are welcome to bring their own fibers that they imagine mingled into their weave.
Skill Level all welcome
